Which dress for semi- formal?

We are having an 8th grade formal in a couple of weeks. It’s not anything big like the prom or anything, it’s more like a semi- formal thing. I was just wondering which dress I should get.

the second one might be weird with a cami since it is a halter….. and the first one was very casual and summery perhaps find another option or two……
